Patrick J. Brady

Food and nutrition insecurity and inadequate food access are pressing public health issues that imperil successful aging. Dr. Brady is a mixed methods researcher and evaluator focusing on enhancing food and nutrition security as an issue of social and economic justice. He explores how the economic and nutrition social safety nets, including emergency food systems and government food assistance programs, can be improved using community-engaged and policy focused research. He is interested in co-developing effective and adaptable interventions that meet community needs.
