Biography
Kate Vavra-Musser is a postdoctoral researcher with the University of Minnesota Institute for Social Research and Data Innovation. She previously received her PhD in Population, Health, and Place from the University of Southern California, her MS in Global Health and Environment from the University of California, Berkeley, and her BS in Biology with a Specialization in Ecology and Evolution from the University of Chicago. Her research interests broadly focus on leveraging spatial analysis and spatial data science to address environmental health, climate change adaptation, and environmental justice issues.
