Jacelly Cespedes

Jacelly Cespedes is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. Her research spans household finance, financial intermediation, and fintech, examining how financial institutions and policies shape household well-being and economic opportunity. Her current work investigates the relationship between bankruptcy protection and mortality. Her research has appeared in the Review of Financial Studies and the Review of Corporate Finance Studies. She earned her Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
