Biography

I received my PhD in Applied Economics and now work as a research scientist at the School of Public Health's Center for Public Health's Center for Public Health Systems. My research interests include poverty alleviation in developing countries. Some of my past work is in the area of access to financial services and asset building, I am developing expertise in macro policies- particularly policies at the intersection of agriculture, trade and globalization and their consequences at the micro level. I am interested in understanding the role of macro policies to generate sustainable job opportunities locally that lead to multi-dimensional development among small communities.
