Biography
I study racialized inequality in education and the roles that schools, segregation, and teachers’ attitudes and biases play in these inequalities. Recent projects examine the ways in which common issue frames related to racialized inequality in education affect stereotypes and levels of support for equity-focused policies. New ongoing work examines patterns, predictors, and equity implications of “race fluidity” in the Minnesota Statewide Longitudinal Education Data System.
