Biography
I am a data analyst at IPUMS on the Multigenerational Longitudinal Panel team. As a demographer and sociologist my research interests encompass topics of immigration, health and mortality, social inequalities, and health policy. My research generally focuses on the social and economic factors that shape individual life course outcomes, particularly education, health, and mortality. My current research examines the association between immigrant ties, including: nativity status, generational status, birthplace, and ancestry, and determinants of health on individuals’ health and mortality outcomes among historical immigrant populations.
