Amanda is a PhD student in the Epidemiology & Community Health department who is actively interested in the study of cancer and how it affects individuals across the life course. Her specific research interests center on survivorship (in pediatric and early/mid-life) in this population and what that looks like (occupationally, educationally, and economically) after treatment. She currently trains as a T32 Population Health Science predoctoral trainee through the Minnesota Population Center (2022) and is involved with the dataset of High School & Beyond. As a part of this appointment she strives to bridge the gap between the social and biological sciences with her work to answer important and unique questions as they relate to cancer survivors.
