Life Course Center Names Janette Dill Associate Director

We are excited to announce Janette Dill as the new Associate Director of the University of Minnesota Life Course Center for the Demography and Economics of Aging. Dr. Dill is an Associate Professor in the Health Policy & Management Division in the School of Public Health and the Deputy Director of the Consortium for Workforce Research in Public Health. Her research focuses on job quality and career mobility across the life course among the health care and public health workforce. Her work has been published in top public health and social science journals, including Health Affairs, Medical Care Research and Review, and Social Science and Medicine, and her research has been supported by the National Institute on Aging, the Health Resources and Services Administration, and other state and federal agencies. 

Dr. Dill is an active member of the Life Course Center: she has led one pilot project, mentored another and has served as a reviewer for our annual pilot project competition; she has presented her research and chaired sessions at the Life Course Center’s Data Intensive Research Conference; and she frequently uses IPUMS data in her substantive research. Learn more about Janette and view her CV. We are very excited for the energy and innovative ideas Janette brings to this role.
